1. Introduction

Wellness Companion is a wellness app for people aged 50 and over. It lets you take a photo (posture, meal, home, healing) and receive a gentle, multilingual well-being report, with a profile, history, and the ability to share your reports with your loved ones. This policy explains what data we process, why, and with whom it is shared.

2. Data we collect

• Account: your email address and a password (email verification and sign-in are handled by our authentication provider).
• Profile: the information you provide (for example age or age range, country, interface and report language, well-being preferences, reminders, and the family recipients you choose to send your reports to).
• Photos: the photos you take to obtain a well-being analysis.
• History: the generated reports, your regular check-ins, and your exercise feedback.
• Subscription: the status of your subscription (free, trial, or premium), managed through our payment provider and the app stores.

3. How we use your data

• To generate your well-being reports from your photos.
• To keep your profile and history so they follow you from one device to another.
• To send your reports, at your request, to the loved ones you specify.
• To manage your subscription and access to premium features.
• To ensure the proper operation, security, and improvement of the service.

We do not use your data for advertising purposes, and we do not sell it.

4. Your photos

The photos you take are securely transmitted to our artificial-intelligence analysis service (Google Gemini) solely to produce your report. Photos are not kept on our servers: only the result of the analysis (your report) is saved in your history.

5. Sharing with service providers

We rely on trusted service providers, strictly to operate the app:

• Authentication — account creation, sign-in, and email verification.
• Google Gemini — photo analysis to generate the reports.
• RevenueCat — subscription management.
• Apple App Store / Google Play — processing of in-app purchases.
• Postmark — sending emails (for example sending reports to loved ones).
• Hosting — secure storage of your profile and history.

6. Data retention

We keep your profile and history for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, this data is deleted. Photos are not kept after the analysis.

7. Security

Data is transmitted encrypted (HTTPS) and stored with secure providers. Access to your data is limited to your account: the server never allows one account to access another account's data.

8. Your rights

You can access, correct, or delete your data. To delete your account and all associated data, or to exercise your rights, write to us at wellness@wellness-companion.com.

9. Children

Wellness Companion is intended for adults (aged 50 and over) and is not intended for children. We do not knowingly collect data about children.

10. Changes

We may update this policy. In the event of a significant change, we will update the date above and, if necessary, notify you in the app.
